Diamondback

The Diamondback is an update on the old Tele Ratt model. The Tele Ratt became renown in the world of lap steels because of Paul Franklin--a prolific session musician in Nashville, Tennessee, playing on more than 500 albums. He has been named by the Academy of Country Music as Best Steel Guitiarist.

Paul told us to just quote him directly on what he thinks of this guitar. His exact words were, "The TeleRatt has that sound level the engineers in the studio love--a voice of its own but still that Tele tone. I just used it on five new albums . . . and man, this little Steel has got it!"

The new Diamondback brings better wood (beautiful looking and sounding swamp ash) and new custom options. If you want a single-coil pickup sound in a lap steel guitar, you won’t find better sounding instrument than the Diamondback.
